Did you know that the Tonkatsu has a Western influence from European-style meat cutlets and is now one of Japan's iconic dishes enjoyed by locals and tourists? Across June and July, learn the various techniques of deep-frying such as controlling the oil temperature, proper cooking of the meat, and many more.
And at the end of it, treat your taste buds to this tender pork cutlet that is perfectly deep-fried to a golden, crispy texture and served with tangy Tonkatsu sauce. Paired with side dishes like the Namul (Pickled vegetables), Sweet Vinegar Radish and Tonjiru (Pork soup), this menu is guaranteed a hearty meal for the soul!
